When is the Prime Minister going to announce that an emergency operation is now underway to rescue the 33 squad players buried deep in the shit at LFC?

This Liverpool fiasco is quite funny. With the Texas injuction, it's a win/win for eveyone outside of LFC. Either H&G retain ownership and Liverpool slip further into the mire or they go into administration and lose 9 points, then go further into the mire!

Not really win/win.. If Liverpool win the latest court case then it's a win for LFC..

They can't really win a 14 day injunction. It's put in place then after 14 days it will probably just get thrown out of court. The injunction is just a delaying tactic, that has worked.

RBS don't have the balls to push through the sale, so they are going to wait for the loan to come up for repayment (tomorrow) and then it will get interesting.

With H&G threatening a £1billion damages claim as well. RBS are unlikely to do anything til 1 November.

I think this just shows how shit the English FA are at ownership due diligence.

I actually think that it is disgusting that a court can rule that the owners of something have to sell it (especially at a loss). But that is a whole other issue.

Hardly disgusting if they wont pay RBS their money. They can't pay back the loan, so the courts are just making sure the bank get their money. Banks>Greedy yank bastards

"The NESV takeover is back on after the High Court dismissed the restraining order issued by a Texas court. "This case has nothing to do with Texas," said Mr Justice Floyd, clearly irked at the attempts by Tom Hicks and George Gillett to stop the sale of the club."

The court case wasn't about paying back the loan. It was about whether the board could sell Liverpool without H&G's consent. Which apparently they can.

None of that matters now as the loan is due... Everton v Liverpool this weekend on sky, I might watch it.

Dont know a great deal about this liverpool ordeal but it doesnt sound good for them, more importantly they dont seem to be getting it right on the pitch either.

With regards to the EPL it look slike chealsea will run away with it this year, Man U are terrible, LIverpool are a joke and Arsenal failed yet agin to but some stability, they just cant seem to grind out results when they cant win a match the "Arsenal way". Sadly gone are teh days when we had a bit of a bark in midfeild and Bergkamp genious up front.

On a positive note for me Rangers are going well this season, not playing great yet but Walter smith's teams are always hard to beat. Not been beat at all this season in any competition, and sitting level on points with ManU in teh Champions league is decent as well.

Now that Liverpool have played a match, is this how they mean to go on!? It's lucky they have new owners. I can hear the Championship beconing for Liverpool.

Newcastle did well to come back from 2-0 down... something Liverpool couldn't do.

Yeah they looked terrible, i personally didnt think Roy Hodgsen was teh right man at the time, with the players they have they need some one with flair. Martin oneil would be a shout.

Since when does Martin O'Neill have flair!? He's a very good manager, but flair doesn't come to mind when you say his name.

I think Roy Hodgson is a very good manager as well, but I also thought that he shouldn't have gone to Liverpool. I think the players are to blame for there position in the league at the moment. Apart from Gerrard (1 man team right there!) all the other players are seriously under-performing.

Roy Hodgeson always managed mediocre teams with good results, I think now he has a bit of quality he is trying to play in the "underdog" mentality he had at his former clubs. It just doesn't work.

Are Liverpool not "underdogs"? 19th in the the league would suggest that they are becoming just that.

Hodgson is a good manager, not great mind. You don't get Fulham into the Europa league and then get to the final if there isn't something about you. But I know what you mean, he has managed lesser teams with lower expectations. I still think that they players at Liverpool are underperforming. Joe Cole was supposed to be a great signing, since his red card at Arsenal on the opening day, he has lived up to his price tag!

Yeah the players need to get a grip. To many Pre maddona's in the EPL.

This whole Wayne rooney thing is so irratating, Hes a decent player, get him to fuck, not worth the hassle, you could bring someone else in to do that job.

I Arsenal should be looking at splashing out a bi of cash on some sensible signing, they have enough youth player, maybe get soemone in to do a job.
Hamshik would be a great bit of buisness, and a prolific striker would be good, someone that will stick teh ball in the net instead of all this passing it into the net.

Anyways, Rangers host Valencia tonight at Ibrox, hopefully another good performance can get us a draw. Then its off to the piggery on sunday for the old firm.

No, they are favourites in almost every match Jimmy. They are favourites but playing with "underdog" tactics.

I wouldnt class them as favourites anymore.

What a great night at Ibrox last night, such a good game, Rangers absorbed a fair amount of pressure in the first 30 mins and looked dangerous on the break, got the goal and defended weel, Scored an OG second half and had the better of the chances. Valencia looked shaky in defence. Regardless of that disapointed with the draw, but if you had given us a point before the match i would of snapped your hand off.

Most teams would be reasonably happ y weith a draw against Valencia. They spent 30M in the summer, we spent 5. The gulf in money is crazy, and a point is far better than a loss. I would take a point all day long against teams of that calibre.

And your off your fucking rocker to think that manky mob will beat us on sunday. Not a fucking chance. No where near the team we are.
