NEW NEW UPDATE

Patch 1.04 is currently being tested and should go live in a couple weeks. As you'll see there are a ton of issues being addressed but what will be most noticeable to us is the gameplay tuning. Lots of good stuff happening here! Take a looksy...


Issues Addressed:
• Resolved several issues with parties getting disbanded unexpectedly.
• Additional measures to prevent the “Transmission error” and other disconnects. This was most likely to occur with large parties where party members had mixed NAT types. (PS3 ONLY)
• Updated handling for UPnP-enabled routers to improve matchmaking conditions where users had strict or moderate NAT types. Also added in-game communications so that all players are aware of their NAT type in the Player Match party lobby.
• Addressed an issue with VOIP icons not appearing when USB headsets were plugged in prior to game launch. (PS3 ONLY)
• Addressed issue that prevented the “Load MP by Default” option from saving when other specific option combinations were set. (X360 ONLY)
• Prevention of exploit that allowed players to keep custom classes and killstreaks after prestige.
• Addressed an issue where Flak Jacket Pro would not always protect against ground fires left by Napalm Strikes.
• Prevention of users losing their killstreak reward when switching classes at the start of a new round in round-based game modes.
• Addressed an issue where the incorrect perks would appear when spectating another player under certain circumstances.
• Added round start explosive delay to China Lake grenade launcher to give it the same round start limitations as other explosives.
• Contracts will now reset when the player Prestiges.
• Prevention of Valkyrie rocket exploding upon release under rare conditions.
• Prevention of Gunship failing to give player full control under rare conditions.
• Prevention of an issue where a player will get teleported outside the map boundaries under very specific circumstances.
• Additional security measures to enhance detection and banning capabilities.

Gameplay Tuning:
• Limit the ability to re-roll supply drops using Hardline Pro to Care Packages only, no other killstreak drops.
• Added a negative influencer to all spawn points to decrease the chances of spawning near an enemy. This will further improve spawning protection on top of previous updates.
• Additional sound mix tuning for Ninja Pro users – increased ranges and volume of enemy footsteps, and removed player footstep sounds on concrete material types.
• Increased headshot multipliers for sniper rifles. Sniper rifles with suppressors equipped will now always be ensured one-shot kill headshots.
• Subtle increase in sniper rifle accuracy when scoping in.
• Added a render delay to the red diamond player indicators that appear when controlling the Gunship, Valkyrie Rocket and Chopper Gunner. When a player first spawns, this will not appear for a period of time.
• Additional minor reductions in knife lunge.

Gameplay Tuning:

• Added a negative influencer to all spawn points to decrease the chances of spawning near an enemy. This will further improve spawning protection on top of previous updates.
Might work in our favour or against us. This could stop them spawning near Lloydy in their own spawn. We shall see..

I'll test Ninja when this happens, to see if it's worth-while. I loved being able to hear people coming in MW2.

Should've been the case from the start

Snipers need a little more love from Treyarch, good move.

May lead to less rage-quitting when you are raping the enemy spawn with a Gunship/Gunner, but don't we deserve the raping after a 9/11 killstreak with no help from killstreaks? Not in favour of this

Knife lunges do seem ridiculous at times. I'd be happy if there was no lunge at all, unless you have the ballistic knife... More in line with Halo (and the energy sword).

nerfing the gunship has the potential to make it useless... It depends how long the delay is. If it gives you enough time to get the strela out and lock on, then you won't be gettin many kills any more.

Making Ninja a worthwhile perk and making the sniper rifles a bit better is fine with me.

its in twith the new patch they released, one shot kill with a silencer on a sniper when shot in the head and they shoot more on target.

Dunno if its me but since the new patch came out im getting at lot more hitmarkers, more r/c cars used (best people running hardline pro have swapped sam sites for R/C cars) and more people running about with snipers quick scoping.

I have not noticed any difference with the hitmarkers, probably just you Matti!

I was quick scoped more times last night, than I had been since release.

Has anyone got a OHK with a silenced sniper yet? Just want to know whether this has been updated.

I emailed one of the devlopers off the offical COD fourms and the checky bastard say me most comman thing with it with lag.

Quick snipers are back and loads of R/C cars because they swapped out sams with hardline.

That games it making me so fucking mad

Doesn't make me mad, still love it. I'm disappointed that quick-scoping is an element again but I'm still gonna beat em most the time. The game doesn't make me mad anymore, which is nice. Sometimes I feel unlucky or something was stupid, but that's the human element.

Sometimes i just feel like i am being used as a fuck tool. I was nearly in tears last night when i had Jimmy's fuck cannon inside me, it was so sore. I have feelings to guys.

I think BO annoys me more than MW2! Quick-scoping is definitely back, but it is much harder than MW2.

The one thing that annoys me most is the host lag. I have clearly shot half a magazine into a person's centre mass without getting a hit marker and then for them to turn around and kill me in 3 or 4 bullets.

Me and Jager have a love/hate relationship.
